HCMC – The STF-Pham Phu Thu Scholarships program under the Saigon Times Foundation in coordination with Novaland Group and journalist Duong Quang presented VND30 million to students in the central province of Quang Nam on May 30.
These students are children of poor workers and are studying at Sao Nam, Nguyen Hien and Ho Nghinh high schools and Duy Son Nursery School.
On May 25, the scholarship program and Novaland donated VND50 million to Vo Hong Son center for disabled children in Nghia Hanh District, Quang Ngai Province to provide the children with better meals and help them gain better life skills, job opportunities and social integration.
Home to more than 140 children with disabilities, the center provides them with free meals, accommodation, education, and vocational training.
Since its establishment in 2017, the STF-Pham Phu Thu Scholarships program has given scholarships worth nearly VND3.9 billion in total to more than 1,300 students in Ha Tinh, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Ngai, Ben Tre, An Giang, Hau Giang and other provinces.
