On 15th May of 2018, at Nghia Phu ward, Gia Nghia town, Daknong province, the primary school named Understanding The Heart Daknong was officially constructed in order to build up a community-oriented education and a comprehensive development for needy good pupils. The Understanding The Heart Foundation takes responsibility of sponsoring, mobilizing and connecting other resources in society. Total cost of construction and equipment for the school is VND10 billion, in which VND2,5 billion is funded by Novaland Group.
Representatives of local authorities, Understanding The Heart Foundation, enterprises and project’s ambassadors, etc. participated in ground-breaking ceremony.
The new school in Daknong province is a part of “Taking children to school” program under Understanding The Heart Foundation and is developed on the basis of building a model of community education with connection and cooperation of 4 components: Family, School, Local Government and Community; This model can help children to study in the best environment. Also, they are fully sponsored about education, health and nutrition. In particular, the project receives expert consultancy from experienced and knowledgeable specialists in the field of education. Not only children will be provided good conditions for studying, but teachers will also get good benefits to work well.

Daknong Understanding The Heart primary school is located beside Dak R'tih Lake, Daknong province with total area of 6.1 ha. All children who study at the school will receive full scholarship consisting of tuition, semi-boarding (meals, accommodation), uniforms, books, notebooks, schoolbags, health insurance; expenses for formal education, extracurricular activities; nutritious foods, healthy foods. Therefore, when the school starts its operation, it will become a "house" with full of love and care for children in mountainous region and will help them to cultivate the mind, to develop a comprehensive knowledge, to become more confident on the way to the betterment in future. The first school-year is going to start in 2019.
Supporting for the construction of Daknong Understanding The Heart primary school and donation of VND1billion to Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City Development Fund (VNU-F) is one of the effort of Novaland Group aiming at the contribution to sustainable education in Vietnam in order to encourage young generations to study better, to strive against difficulties, to build their will on the way to conquer their aspirations to become exemplary and capable citizens who can contribute to the development of country.
