On 14/11/2017, Teacher Nhe Charity Fund has donated 180 scholarships to disadvantaged students, and supported study encouragement package to 08 schools in Dong Thap province. The total donation is 440 million VND. This is the consecutive 13th year that the Fund has brought scholarships to poor students.
Children are the future pillars of our nation – It’s our responsibility to protect them, help them fully development. And in Long Khanh commune, Hong Ngu district, Dong Thap province; with the majority of households are hired labor, beside they also have to suffer annual disasters, landslides; so school attendance are the dreams of many students here.
With this reason, over the past 13 years, Teacher Nhe Charity Fund from Novaland Group has helped thousands of disadvantaged students in the local area, spent billions of VND to help these children to go to school.
Many students and parents were eagerly awaiting the scholarships
This year, the Charity Fund donated scholarships to 180 students, each worth 2 million VND; and supported 80 million VND to the study encouragement fund of 08 schools in Long Khanh A and Long Khanh B communes, Hong Ngu district, Dong Thap province. These scholarships will help the students to cover the cost of a school year, as well as encourage them to continue to strive for better result.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Nam, Deputy of Education and Training Department of Hong Ngu District, said: "I believe that some of students who had received the scholarship today will later become successful entrepreneurs, elite officers and come back to help disadvantaged families as they are today. Teacher Nhe scholarship is a gift and a motivation for all of you to overcome the adversity. So you need to cherish and try hard."
All students smiled brightly when receiving scholarships
Vo Quoc Thanh, student of Long Khanh A High School, said: "My parents are old and weak. Sometimes I want to leave school to take care my family. But I know that only learning can help me get out of poverty. Teacher Nhe scholarship comes to me while I am facing many difficulties. I want to become a construction engineer to take care of my parents, and contribute to the country. If I have the opportunity and ability, I also want to bring scholarships for the children as Teacher Nhe.”

In addition to taking good care of employees; Novaland Group has processed a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, such as building bridges, providing gratitude houses, building cultural houses, providing breeding cows to poor households, etc in many provinces of the country.
In particular education field, in the year 2017, beside Teacher Nhe Charity Fund, Novaland has collaborated with many agencies and organizations to organize many activities for children such as: accompanied with "lighting the dreams" of Vietnam Children's Rights Association; build Sao Bien preschool school in Quang Nam province; operated meaningful camps for disadvantaged students from An Giang, Can Tho, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Vinh Long.
