Dec 3rd, 2016 – Novaland Group and Anova Feed JSC in conjunction with Vietnamese Youth Social Work Centre held the “Connecting Voluntary Hearts 2016” program in 11 remote communes of Hong Ngu district, Dong Thap province. The program attracted more than 500 volunteers coming from Novaland Group, Anova Feed JSC and other voluntary clubs, teams. The program aims to support local people in difficulty and pulpils with good academic results in Hong Ngu district, Dong Thap province with a total donation of more than VND3 billion, of which more than VND2.2 billion is from Novaland Group, Anova Feed and partners.
The Connecting Voluntary Hearts 2016 program carries out a lot of meaningful activities, including building 7 charity houses, 7 kilometers of country road with lights, 400 meters of inter-village road; granting 7 pairs of breeding cows, 200 scholarships for elementary and secondary schools, 190 bicycles and 600 gifts to pupils in difficulty with good academic results; giving 700 gifts for families in difficulty; donating medical boxes, bookcases for schools, 11 computers for local youth organizations in Dong Thap province. Especially, the Golden Lotus festival was held to create a playing field for local children with a lot of folk games, entertainment and cuisine. Some 30,000 local people and children are estimated to benefit from this meaningful program.
