Recently, institutions including The United Nations Centennial, the Boston Global Forum and the United Nations Academic Impact Initiative officially issued a Certificate recognizing the Combination between the City of Artificial Intelligence World Society (AIWS) and NovaWorld Phan Thiet as a distinguished city to honor the First Century of the United Nations. The certification was following the success of the 2045 United Nations Roundtable, themed "A Distinguished City to Honor the United Nations’ First Century", hosted online on April 15, 2021, with the participation of Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon - Chairman of Novaland Group, who also acted as the main speaker at the Roundtable.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming a key technology globally as well as in Vietnam, serving digital transformation, providing solutions to develop smart city models. The connection model between AIWS City - a virtual city - and NovaWorld Phan Thiet - a real city - is officially recognized as a world’s distinguished model for 2045 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the United Nations.

This is an important milestone that not only establishes NovaWorld Phan Thiet as an attractive, internationally recognized destination but also is a breakthrough that makes Phan Thiet the “No. 1 MICE tourism city in the region and the world”.
Previously, the two sides also agreed on the plan to set up a branch of the "Michael Dukakis Institute - Vietnam" at NovaWorld Phan Thiet and implement the AI Society Leadership Training Program with the participation of world’s leaders and professors from Michael Dukakis Institute and the Artificial Intelligence Social Creativity Network (AIWS.net). In particular, Michael Dukakis Institute has chosen Phan Thiet as the venue for the Conference of the World Leadership Alliance - Club de Madrid in 2022 with the theme Building a New Economy, a New Finance for the world in the age of digital and artificial intelligence.
Through this combination, AIWS City will constantly contribute ideas to the development of NovaWorld Phan Thiet, thereby helping to build a comprehensive ecosystem in Phan Thiet City based on criteria including sustainable development, technology improvement, innovation in education and cultural preservation, to turn Phan Thiet City into a symbolic city of the world in the 21st century, and to make NovaWorld Phan Thiet a distinguished destination of the world in 2045.
